How ScreenWay contributes to more sustainable healthcare
For us, sustainability means more than just environmental protection. It's about responsible action in all areas – ecological, social, and economic. As a German company in healthcare, we take responsibility for people and the environment.
Less paper, less waste, less CO₂
ScreenWay eliminates printed flyers, posters, and information sheets in the waiting area. An average practice saves up to 5,000 sheets of paper per year – equivalent to about 25 kg CO₂ and half a tree.
Our ScreenWay Player is a mini PC with only 10-15 watts power consumption – less than an energy-saving lamp. Compared to conventional PC solutions, you save up to 85% energy. One display + player consumes approx. 50-80 watts in operation.
All data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany. Our hosting partners use 100% renewable energy. Short data paths mean less energy consumption and faster loading times.
ScreenWay Players are designed for at least 5 years lifespan. Software updates keep devices usable for a long time. We take back defective devices and ensure proper recycling.
Updates and new content are distributed via the cloud – without USB sticks, DVDs or courier services. This saves transport emissions and physical waste.
Fair, local, transparent
Development, support and hosting take place entirely in Germany. We create local jobs and pay taxes where we do business.
Our team works under fair conditions with appropriate compensation. We maintain a central office in Munich city center (Fürstenstr. 15) that is easily accessible for everyone. We invest in training and personal development.
100% GDPR compliance is a matter of course for us. Patient data deserves the highest protection. We deliberately refrain from tracking, analytics and data selling. Unlike many competitors, we do not display third-party advertising – your waiting area remains ad-free and patient-centered.
Our German-language support is equally accessible to all customers – regardless of practice size or technical know-how. We don't leave anyone alone.

Your data belongs to you. Export functions are standard, and we use open formats. You stay with us out of conviction, not because of technical dependency.

German servers, German law, German values
All patient data, videos and documents are stored exclusively on servers in Germany. No cloud services from the USA or China. German data protection law without ifs or buts.
ScreenWay was developed GDPR-compliant from the ground up – not retrofitted. Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default are integral parts of our architecture.
We use no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixels, no hidden trackers. Your website visits remain anonymous. What we don't know, we can't misuse.
In the portal, we only log security-relevant actions (who changed what when) – never usage behavior or movement profiles. Full transparency for you, no data collection for us.
