Museum and gallery
Screens that deepen the experience – never disrupt it.
ScreenWay understands the distinctive aesthetic of cultural institutions. Our displays enrich exhibitions with contextual information, multilingual interpretation and quiet navigation – they never compete with the exhibit.

Dwell time up 55 percent with interactive displays, print costs down 30 to 40 percent, over 20 languages on a single device.

and quiet interpretation at the exhibit.
Beside, beneath or opposite the exhibit, elegant displays deliver depth without noise. Art-historical context, artist biographies, the creative process and comparative works are available on demand. Proximity sensors activate content only when a visitor draws near. A low-brightness mode adapts to sensitive gallery lighting.
Space and aesthetics
Technology that serves the artwork
ScreenWay is built for the specific demands of cultural institutions: discreet, context-sensitive, accessible and fully adaptable to your character.
Aesthetically integrated
Slim frames, screens dimmed to gallery lighting, wireless mounting for listed heritage spaces. ScreenWay respects both the architecture and the art.
Made-to-measure materials
Frames in wood, brass or aluminium, lacquered in your brand colours or deliberately understated. Stands, wall mounts and recessed installations are coordinated with your architect.
From the 7-inch object label to wall-scale displays
Small object labels beside the exhibit, mid-size portrait pillars or large 65 to 98 inch wall displays. E-paper screens reflect gallery light like paper.
Areas of use in detail
ScreenWay in every exhibition
Whether a temporary exhibition, a permanent collection or an interactive special show. ScreenWay adapts flexibly to every new exhibition, with no construction work.
Entrance and foyer
Visitors are informed, intrigued and oriented before they enter the first exhibition. Current highlights, tour times, admission prices and the floor plan at a glance.
Exhibition spaces
Digital labels right beside the artwork provide background information, artist portraits, historical context and supplementary imagery. Multilingual and accessible.
Interactive stations
Visitors zoom into painting details, explore timelines and browse archive material. Touch tables for group interaction, gamification for school groups and children.
Special exhibition
New exhibition, new programme. Every display across the entire building is updated simultaneously with a single click. No print runs, no installation time – hours instead of days.
Café and museum shop
Digital menu boards in the café, product highlights in the shop, pointers to exclusive exhibition catalogues and membership benefits.
Day-to-day in the building
Low-maintenance, secure, heritage-friendly
The hardware is built for continuous operation. Media players run silently and require little maintenance. Software updates run automatically outside opening hours. In the event of damage, we arrange a hardware swap within 24 to 48 hours.
Heritage-compliant and wireless
ScreenWay supports wireless e-paper displays and screens with concealed cabling. Dedicated wireless solutions over Wi-Fi, battery-powered or solar-powered, for historic spaces.
Theft protection and kiosk mode
Concealed anti-theft locks, lockable mounts and bolted floor fixings for free-standing pillars. Content encrypted, USB ports disabled, touch devices in kiosk mode.
Cleaning during operation
Cleaning with standard antistatic microfibre cloths. Touch displays with anti-fingerprint coating. Hygiene concepts for touch stations have been standard since the pandemic.
Granular role management
Management retains control. Individual departments for education, shop, catering and curators maintain their own content. Submission workflows with an approval process are possible.
Experiences that resonate more deeply
Touch exploration and deeper insight
Visitors zoom into painting details, explore timelines, browse archive material or take part in interactive quizzes. Engagement that deepens knowledge.
Moving image and comparative views
Studio footage, restoration time-lapses, before-and-after comparisons, detail pans into sections of a work, artist interviews. Accessible via touch and QR code.
Content for every audience
Simplified language and playful elements for children and school classes, in-depth contextualisation for adults, easy-to-follow explanations for families.
Impact and potential
More dwell time, more impact, less print
The ROI comes from a mix of direct revenue in the shop, café and upselling, indirect levers such as repeat visits and sponsorship premiums, and avoided costs for printing and translation.
Visitor uplift through special-exhibition promotion
Just 2 percent more visits at 10 euros admission already add up to 35,000 euros a year. A current visitor who sees the next exhibition on the displays is more likely to return.
Over 20 languages on a single device
Fully include international visitors without expensive multiple print runs. Right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew are also displayed correctly.
Change an exhibition in an hour
Update every display at once instead of days of preparation with print runs and installation teams. Test a preview before the opening goes ahead.
Impact in numbers
longer visitor dwell time with interactive digital displays (Seenlabs)
Sponsors pay a premium for digital visibility in the museum – an additional revenue stream that would not be possible with printed panels.
